Monique Leonardo Carlos is a homeschool mom, teacher, and entrepreneur who is passionate about working with families and children. Originally from the Philippines, Monique and her family immigrated to Canada, bringing along her collection of over 600 picture books. Monique’s debut children’s book, It's Okay, Just Ask (Owlkids Books), highlights her love for storytelling, while her co-produced Saffi Squirrel series helps teach children and families about financial literacy. With a background as an elementary teacher, ECE, Executive Director, and nonprofit leader, she brings a wealth of experience to her work with children and families.
