K.S. Villoso grew up in the slums of Manila before moving to East Vancouver in her early teens. She writes fantasy with themes shaped by her childhood--stories of struggle, hope, and resilience amidst grim and grit. She has written and published several books, including the epic fantasies THE WOLF OF OREN-YARO and OUTLAW MAGE. She now lives in Anmore, BC. When she isn't writing, she spends her days counting to when she can get lost in the mountains again.
