Of Pangasinan, Ilokano, and Telugu descent, Hari Alluri (he/siya) is a poet, editor, and teaching artist who lives on unceded T’uubaa-asatx land and unceded Coast Salish territories of Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples, and is energized by and hopes to energize community and collaboration on these lands and beyond. Siya is a recipient of the Vera Manuel Award for Poetry, grants from BC Arts Council, Canada Council for the Arts, and other honours.
